It's been hot here. Like, HOT. They predicted the heat index today would be 118. Gross, I say.
Last week, my sister and I took our dad and the kids on a bike/walk around a nearby lake. It started to get a little too toasty, but not having brought bathing suits or towels, we suggested the kids could wade in the lake. That quickly turned into, "Oh, just go ahead and go in." They loved every second.
