First, this happened.

The kids were supposed to go to my parents' house to decorate gingerbread cookies.
When we got stuck in front of our next door neighbor's house, we decided we best not trek any further.
The kids simultaneously burst into tears.
It took J and two neighbors 20 minutes to get our van back home. From next door.

Fortunately, Banany had just gotten a big snowman cookie making kit for her birthday from friends last weekend. (Thank's B's...you saved the day.)
So we whipped up some lady snowman...
