Banany headed back to preschool today. This year she'll go two days a week, up from one day a week last year. Our day started out a little rough - neither of the kids slept very well, so they were both a little tired and Meatball was especially grumpy. But, we recovered and she had a happy drop-off, jumping right in to color the apple with her name on it.
The morning wasn't complete with out her signature eyes-crossing picture, of course.
She had a great time and has some classmates who are familiar faces from last year. They did projects, read books, played outside, and did a silly rhyming song with a stuffed elephant that all the kids were still laughing about at pick-up time.
Meatball missed her though. We ran to Target and he kept looking for her - it was kind of sad. Sadly, it was short-lived and in no time they were fighting. He was hitting her and trying to poke her eyes while she hissed at him.
