J and I headed to the fair last night with friends. We ate and drank $80 worth of completely-bad-for-you-fair-cuisine (which actually isn't that much since everything is about $5, right???). We brought our point and shoot camera to attempt to be a little more discreet in our search of the finest fairgoer of 2008.
Let me tell you that we took five pictures before we even got on our shuttle at the park and ride to go to the fair. Once we were there, it was actually overwhelming to try to get pictures. For one, people are walking by, next to, and all around us. Everyone is moving. Secondly, the picture-worthy fairgoers were literally everywhere. One of us had the camera and the other one is saying, "There. Over there. Hurry. Turn around. Over there." We actually did chase a few people down to try to get their picture.
I had to separate out the top two pictures, because they were in a league of their own.

Even Brian, who just this morning dressed Adam in camo shorts and a plaid shirt for church, thought this was horrendous! Unbelievable!
people watching is so hilarious. I wish I could get away with being like Stacy and Clinton and just run up to people and say "What the crap were you thinking when you got dressed?"
Not sure what is funnier the pictures or your descriptions.
You should be a fashion reporter!!
You could do the Oscars
