Lovin' Lyle

We got tickets to Lyle Lovett last night for J's birthday. We kicked off the night with dinner at a couple of hip places downtown with friends and then we all headed to the concert. If you've never heard Lyle before, give him a listen - he's one of our all time favorites and he puts on amazing concerts. This is the third or fourth time we've seen him and we especially love when he plays with his big band and a bunch of back up singers.

This particular clip is from a concert he did in Kansas City, and, in my opinion not as well as they did here, but you get the idea. It was my favorite song of the night.




He's odd and witty, but not a real pretty fella...hard to imagine he was married to Julia Roberts at one time. It goes to show that looks aren't everything...even to the stars. :)
