Cabin Weekend with Friends

Some more pics from our weekend away with some neighbors at their cabin. This lake is something else...one of the premiere lakes in the state, so it was a real treat to be able to hang out here for the weekend. My friend, Erin (the hostess), and I swam about a mile and a half one day in the crystal clear, sandy bottomed lake. I saw zero fish, zero rocks, and one weed. Heavenly.

My friend, Erin, let Meaty crawl into her dad's pontoon after they got the cover on. It was like a fort and he LOVED it. He was allllll about the boat.

Banany on her first tube ride. She didn't hesitate a second to try it, but was a tiny bit nervous right before she hopped on. She loved it about 2 seconds later.

We were out in the middle of this huge, beautiful lake. Right here, we could look down about 8 or 9 feet and see the sandy bottom.

Meaty was in heaven. There was a boathouse full of sand toys, including a number of construction vehicles.

Banany worked on her sandcastle for two days.
