Annual Fall Trip

We've been making an annual trip to an adorable apple orchard/pumpkin patch with good friends of ours for the last five years.

When we started out, each of our three families had one child a piece. We'd load up our cars with all of our baby gear...baby bjorns, pumps, strollers, diaper bags, bottles...it was quite the event! Now, we all have two kids a piece and our kids were barely dressed appropriately for the cold day, let alone all the gear.

It's an outing we look forward to every year. We hit the orchard for a while, do some of the activities - like the tractor ride, feeding the animals, playing in the hay, eating the fresh donuts, and taking pictures - and head over to one family's house for dinner.

Maybe in a few years, we'll actually be able to take this motley crew out for dinner....well, that might be too much to ask.

J and the kids climbed up the observation tower for a beautiful look over some rolling hills.

The kids in the bus. I was too lazy to check with my girlfriends to see if they cared if I posted their kids' pictures on my blog, but this bus has six little windows for our six little passengers. We've filled the bus to capacity over the last five years!
