When my nephew, J, was about 2, he called a fish, a "weesh." Now, that's what Meatball calls it.
It's pretty cute to hear a new talker try to figure out how to say all of these complicated sounds!
Well, we have a little weesh. Banany L-O-V-E-S to swim. She's taken swimming lessons for a few years now and has loved the water from day one. She'll swim any chance she gets. We just started a new session of lessons and she's doing great. There are some things that are challenging for her, which I'm actually glad about because hopefully that means she's learning!
The Fourth of July wasn't really all that hot, but her cousin, M, really wanted the two of them to swim in their outdoor pool. They had a blast and never complained about being too cold.

Is Banany's challenge trying to swim with all the pvc pipe in the water? What in the world kind of pool does lessons while under construction??? Seriously-what IS that?

And Chaos mom is right, the pool looks a little crowded :)
The white pvc pipes are little "stations" throughout the areas where new swimmers have lessons. The kids will do their various drills from the side of the pool to the rest area since they're too little to make it the whole length of the pool. So anywhere you see the pvc benchy thing, a class could be going on for little swimmers. They do have a couple of totally open lanes for the bigger kids to do laps etc.
I wish some of her love for the water would rub off on Matt. He's getting better, but no where near where she is!!
