Growing up, we spent a week every summer, for years, at their home on Lake Michigan. I have very fond memories of the time we spent there year after year. Sadly, it had been way too long since we've been together and it was wonderful to be in touch again.
One of the days they were here, part of the group (well, the part with kids!) went to a local park with tons of attractions - huge play area, massive picnic grounds, lake with paddle boats, hiking trails, and rocks to climb. We had such a great day, but we went non-stop! I kid you not, the pictures from this post all happened in one day.
No wonder we were so worn out.
The only two dads present...somehow got stuck with 6 of the 7 kids!

J caught it and demanded that we refer to him as the Snake Charmer for the rest of the night.

The two big boys went to a baseball game with Uncle B. The little ones stayed home and chilled and watched a show before we all collapsed into bed!

Great recap! Fortunately, we can look back at the craziness now and smile. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep!

I also want to know where that park is. Looks like a blast. My favorite pic is Hil with the "guns" to her head. Cracks me up.
